What If...? #002

What if every lie became permanently visible?

Imagine waking up tomorrow to discover that every lie you've ever told has appeared on your skin.

Not as scars.

Not as tattoos.

Just simple words.

"I'm fine."

"I'll be there in five minutes."

"I didn't eat the last cookie."

Some are harmless.

Some are embarrassing.

Others are the kind of lies you've spent years hoping no one would ever uncover.

No amount of scrubbing, makeup, or long sleeves can hide them.

The more serious the lie, the darker the words become.

Slowly, the world begins to change.

Job interviews become uncomfortable.

First dates are painfully honest.

Politicians refuse to roll up their sleeves.

Children ask questions that adults can no longer avoid.

For the first time in history, everyone knows exactly who has been truthful...

...and who has simply become better at hiding behind words.

Perhaps honesty wouldn't create a better world.

Perhaps it would simply reveal that every person has been carrying invisible truths all along.

If every lie you've ever told became visible tomorrow, which one would you hope nobody noticed first?
