What If... #001
What if everyone forgot the same person overnight?
Imagine waking up tomorrow and discovering that the entire world has forgotten one person.
Not someone famous.
Not someone powerful.
Just... someone ordinary.
Their family no longer remembers raising them.
Their closest friends insist they've never met.
Their coworkers believe their desk has always been empty.
Every photograph still exists.
Every birthday card, every text message, every handwritten note remains exactly where it was left.
The evidence says this person existed.
Yet whenever someone looks at it, they simply shake their head.
"I don't remember them."
The forgotten person can still speak.
They can still laugh.
They can still stand in front of the people they love.
But no amount of proof is enough to convince anyone that they once belonged in their lives.
As the days pass, the world quietly adjusts.
Someone else moves into their apartment.
Someone else takes their place at work.
Even family traditions continue, as though there had always been one fewer chair at the table.
Perhaps the most frightening part isn't being forgotten.
It's realizing how effortlessly life continues without you.
If everyone forgot who you were tomorrow, how would you prove that you ever existed?
